In my ground floor bedroom I have what appears to be brown mould on two walls.

In the picture, above the stone wall is plasterboard dabbed onto blockwork. It is a dividing wall, the other side of which is an outbuilding used for honey extraction.
The wall on the right of the picture is an external wall. The plasterboard is screwed to studding which has Celotex between the studding and on top of it..
Neither wall have been skimmed and paint is applied to the plasterboard, I forgot to get it skimmed.
The honey house is plasterboarded but there is water damage where the middle shelf ends as in the picture.

On the outside the single pitch roof slopes from the external road wall. The timber plate at the top of the tiles has a join at the same point as the internal dividing wall. Possibly water may get in there?

What caused the mould?
Is it mould?
Best way to deal with it please.
