I have mould growing on a wall downstairs from a leak from the previous owners. I have treated with mould removal but it keeps coming back (although not as much). Anyone have any ideas??
But a combination of both will.A leak does not cause mold, it's air born and due to poor ventilation of the area.
Sorry to Hi-Jack this thread but I too seem to have this problem in our main bed room. There isn't a leak for the roof as I've inspected it several times however I think it may be trapped vapors as there isn't a ventilation brick installed. Besides the obvious of leaving a window open what else could we do to stop the mold coming back?
Also great advice for clean the mold off, I'll be trying that tomorrow
How old is your house wilsonian?it annoys me that the building designers didn't think of this when drawing the blue prints. Many thanks for the replies and sorry again for hi-jacking this thread.
Actually believe it or not architects do practically zero technical training even back in the 70's, its no better now.
