Hi,

I want to mount a 42" Plasma display onto a concrete pillar . Have purchased a Vogel's EFW 6445 Mount but am a bit confused with the screws supplied . I've attached picture of the fixings supplied with the mount . As I am going to mount this into concrete - do I need to use the rawplugs supplied or just use the screw directly into the wall to hold the bracket ( I've heard of Tapcon screws which dont need plugs but are not sure if these are the same or similar) . Its a bit confusing as the instructions with the mount dont really explain much and give you 2 drilling dimensions 1 of 6mm and 1 of 10mm which I assume is without the rawplug and with the rawplug . The Screws are about 3" in length Can anyone help?

Thanks

Vogels tend to have very small mounting holes. If the mount is flat to wall then use dome head screws and plugs (maybe even coach screws and plugs), if your going to tilt the screen I'd be looking at Tapcon / Hilti concrete screws (drill 6mm hole and drive them straight into the concrete) . . . If you want to be hyper careful use expanding bolts.
