Hi,

Quick question to see what people do generally when fitting a wall mounted sink to a tiled wall.

The tiles aren't perfectly flat of course so what do most people put between the basin and tiles to take up the unevenness? I wouldn't be confident that silicon would spread the load across the basin enough as it's not very stiff. I don't want to use a grab adhesive (which cure a bit harder) as it would be nice to have the option of taking the basis off the wall without the tiles attached!!

See the picture (the nuts on stud the fixings are finger tight here):

Cheers.

P.s. I forgot to mention the Laufen instructions mention 'packing paste' ?

I just use a bead of silicone along the top and sides.....the mountings can handle the load so long as they are secure. Just tighten them evenly, a bit at a time.
John :)
