Hoping someone can kindly help me please.
I have a tiny kitchen and looking to move my washing machine into the airing cupboard. I had an outlet (or whatever they’re called) fitted when I had my
Bathroom done in prep. I was going to put the washing machine on a mat that reduces vibrations. To do all of this …I need to move my combi up the wall circa just under 1metre.
Does anyone know if this is possible and rough idea of costa and implications please? I’m in Staffordshire.
Any help vastly appreciated

1. Look up make and model of your boiler, look up the installation instructions (internet) and see if there is enough clearance above if you move it up.
2. With the make and model, see if flue kits are available. Bit dodgy if the boiler is of some age, and generally the old flue cannot be re-used.
3. If it looks feasible in the light of 1 and 2 above, get 3 quotations from installers, preferably found by personal recommendation.
4. Without seeing it, its not possible to give any idea of cost, but a "run of the mill" move would involve:
4.1 Drain system.
4.2 Take boiler off the wall.
4.3 Mark out and drill for new flue hole.
4.4 If necessary mark out and drill for new pressure relief and condensate pipework.
4.5 Mark out and drill wall for fixing plate in new position.
4.6 Fit fixing plate, position boiler and fix flue.
4.7 Alter pipework as necessary (flow, return, cold in, hot out, gas, pressure relief and condensate).
4.8 Extend / alter electrical connections as necessary.
4.9 Connect boiler to pipework and electrical items.
4.10 Refill pipework and test.
4.11 Add inhibitor
5. It would probably be wise to use the opportunity to have the system flushed and a magnetic filter fitted.
6. Items 4.1 to 4.11 plus item 5 could probably be completed in a person-day. You could look up the costs of flue, inhibitor, system cleaner and magnetic filter on the internet. Add £100 for odds and ends like pipe and fittings.

Unless fairly new (within last 5-10 years) it might be worth costing a new one. Many people have them in the loft nowadays.

How is a mat going to reduce vibration, ? if just need to be level on rigid surface, any type of mat would reduce stability increasing vibration .
