Am carrying out soundproofing, part of which means a wall mounted radiator needs to be taken off its mount, disconnected from the plumbing/central heating system, prior to acoustic plasterboard/mineral wool/resilient bars being installed on the wall and the radiator plumbed back into the central heating in its new location (effectively a couple of inches further into the room than it was before).
Is this something that can be DIY'd and if so are there any videos out there that would show me how to do this, in particular capping the inflow/outflow valves to allow me to move the radiator out the way while I carry out the plasterboarding.
