I am moving my sink from one side of the bathroom to the other and replacing it with a new suite.
Fortunately, the pipes will be able to run with the joists rather than through them.
The sink i have bought (being delivered friday) is a pedestal one and comes with trap. obviously i need to take pipes from the trap down under the floor and run along under the floor to the opposite wall and out to the downpipe.
1) Is this easy to do?
2) Normally is there enough space behind the pedestal to come out of the trap into a down bend?
3) I have got to re-route the tap pipes also - should i bring those up either side of the trap?

These might be stupid questions but just wondering if anyone has done it before and can point me in the right direction?

1) well, er of course. But we would say that...
2) Bin the free trap and use a "pedestal trap". If the pipe goes horizontalish more than about 4 feet use one with a 40mm outlet for 40mm pipe:
