I am looking to move a radiator on a closed CH system. Is it the same as a normal system, ie drain down, move pipework, fit radiator and refill system water to pressure level or am I missing something?
Any help or advice appreciated....

It's just the same in every respect.

There is one extremely unlikely issue though (which affects me, and probably only me in the whole world, but I'll mention it) - ensure you don't inadvertently bypass or compromise your filling loop when moving the rad.

My filling loop is T'd from the last radiator return leg, up into the loft where there is an isolation valve and loop to the rising main. If I moved that rad., I would have to make sure the filling branch remained in place.

As I said, very unlikely this will affect you though.

Cheers for the help CJGarlick. Filling loop won't be affected so I'll give it a go.
