I currently have a radiator on one side of the bedroom, but want to take it out and instead have a curved radiator over the other side of the room, under a bay window.

Just wondered if anybody could give some advice on whether this is a big job in terms of moving pipework under the floorboards, and if it is something that I would need a corgi fitter for? Also any ideas of how long (roughly) it should take?

Thanks in advance! :)

EDIT: Maybe I should mention as well that it's on a combi boiler system ;)

not unless you have gas in your rads no.

pipeworks not a problem it's the pain of the floorboards i hate.

About half a day for the floor boards, draing down, plumbing -re-fill etc.

Can you empty the room and take up the carpet ? That's another half day !!

You need to get a radiator curved to the right radius - apparently they just take a single panel radiaotor of the right height and length and just bend it over some large rollers. You need to make sure the radiator actually fits the window - don't want to discover it's slightly out when the plumber turns up.
