Moving a Radiator

I am thinking of soundproofing my living room party wall. The problem is that the wall has two radiators on it.
What would be the easiest way to move the radiator two or three inches forward to make room for the new wall?

You will have to take it off and rehang and repipe.

Make sure you have some studs or noggins to hang the rad on if you are building a false wall.

That could be considered as affecting the structural integrity of the party wall thereby invoking the Party Wall Act - can't do any harm to check it to be on the safe side?
