My niece and her boyfriend want to do some work in the loft. this would entail moving the existing elson tank from it's current position to one end of the loft. can the gravity supply pipes be run horizontally to the new position or is the idea a non- starter? .thanks

1) make sure they're big enough, 28mm probably best for the gravity supplies. 28mm Plastic with compression fittings, maybe. Plastic 28 is available in straight lengths, but you may have to order it in. Pushfit if you really trust it!
2) you should have a slight fall to avoid trapping air
