Hi,

Slight problem with my en-suite which I'm re-fitting....

I've moved a heated towel rail and completely gutted an existing en-suite but the only problem is that the soil stack (already fitting) is now a bit too close to where the heated towel rail is being mounted to the wall.

Is there a way to move it slightly and I mean only slightly to get it away from the heated towel rail. Don't want people sitting on the toilet burning their legs!!!

Wondered if there was a way to move fit an extension or adjustment without having to redo the soil stack from outside and drill a new hole through the wall of the house.

Thanks

p.s. the soils stack runs directly from the outside, through the wall and straight, into the back of the toilet. As in it has no 90 degree bend which I could adjust.

I've had exactly the same problem although I had to swap the toilet and basin so that the towel rauil would be next to the basin.
It was actually straightforward. the floor is boarded and the soil pipe exited straight through the wall. So we just drilled a new hole through the wall and blocked up the old hole (now rendered externally). You can get soil pipes which are flexible and this makes it all quite easy.
In fact I'm now going to replace the towel rail with a combimed rail and rad as t rails don't really heat the bathroom.
