Hello,
I'm moving one of my sockets to a postion about 2 foot hight up the wall. the original socket is part of ring withj a spur off it that supplies an outside socket.
I have cleared a channel to run new socket and was planning on using a ceramic connector block to join / extend the wire. I was going to put the connector in a small PVC enclosure and run cable to new socket inside a 20mm conduit. Then plaster over the whole thing. IS this legal?
I read on previous topic that you should not plaster over a junction box. Does this mean I should not use the cermaic connector and use crimps instead?
thanks...
