Hi. I am installing plasterboard and removing asbestos walls and ceiling in the bathroom.

I need to temporarily remove the toilet to fit the plasterboard and want to set it correctly.

At the moment the toilet tank sits 90mm from the wall and has a block of wood in between.

The toilet has a pvc pipe that runs externally to the outlet pipe which is in the ground. It is a bungalow, with chipboard flooring, timber framed.

The distance from the wall wall and the centre of the outlet pipe is 165mm about 6" 1/2. From what I understand it should be 10/12/14 inches?

It is a new toilet, so I would rather keep it, unless it meant moving the outlet pipe. Is there adaptor I could use?

Please see images attached.

Thanks for help.

You could try a swan neck pan connector. This will move it back a bit but not the whole 90mm. You'll need to move the hole in the floor to get the cistern flush with the wall.
