Have recently moved and replaced all the toilet seats (as you do !!)

Have bought reasonable ones from Focus, B & Q etc. But can't get them to stay in the right place. O.K., I know that there is a degree of shuffling when you sit down - that's life isn't it ? And anyway we kow why we all do it. ;) ;) ;) ;)

But no matter how tight I screw up the fittings they just shuffle across the pan. I have even tightened the stud types so much that I've pulled the centres out of the hinge plates.

Q. Is there any type of fitting that attaches to the underneath of the seat that will prevent movement.

Answers at your own convenience.
