moving toilet

wanting to turn downstairs toilet 90 degrees but this would mean having to dig up the concrete floor to move the drainage
so what i'm thinking is as the new toilet would be on an outside wall of the house can I take the 110mm waste pipe straight out through the wall then down to a trap then run a pipe to the nearest manhole approx. 3 metres away this pipe would then be covered by a concrete garage floor
does these sound feasible

Dont need a trap, a WC pan has an inbuilt trap so connects directly to the drain. Where does current drain go? Could you take the pipe from new WC position through the wall then drop down and connect to the existing drain outside? This would allow you to seal off the (then) disused connection left in the floor with concrete. (Vital it is sealed adequately regardless or smells, rats etc could easily become a major issue!)

to connect to existing drain outside would mean going against the flow so not an option
there is the existing drain manhole and one 3 metres down the line
I could expose the clay pipe between the 2 and branch the new pipe in as without the old toilet drain I could cover over the old manhole reducing the need for 3 manholes
or go 2 my existing plan

Go with the first idea then. You dont want to be 'cover over' an existing manhole, it needs to be removed and the pipework bridged across the gap properly or you'll be asking for trouble. Joining in the middle of the run is not advised as you'll have a length of drain you cant get at to rod should need arise.

Seems safest bet under circumstances is a new run to an existing manhole. Just make sure you block off the old run correctly or you'll find the rats move in.....
