Generally though, that's the nature of an internet forum. You may find some people entertaining, but they're not really your mates. They float in, they float out, sometimes they even float back with new names, but there's no need to send a search-party out if someone doesn't post for a few days.
(Incidentally, and this is a question for everyone, just imagine you died suddenly - Has anyone left instructions to let everyone here know about it ? Something similar happened on MySpace recently and it set me wondering...)

Hi i am posting on behalf of Jbonding, unfortunetly he passed away in tragic circumstances today well about five minutes ago to be precise is anyone interested in a cheap computer and a load of old plastering tools and 500ltr of external pva.

this is an email i found on his computer;
"dear jbonding you may not know me but i am the wife of the late freddie, unfortunetly freddie was out in his little shed at the bottom of the garden, god knows what he done in there with his mate who owns a trowel, legs akimbo. They would spend hours upon hours working on some magical paint that stops rendering cracking,lol. apparantly freddie was told pva never existed appart from sticking mdf together or sticking them bloody drawings in that book he was writting, now this is were the problems began. Freddie had seen an advert years earlier where some fella stuck himself to a wall with wallpaper adhesive and thought he would prove this was possible with PVA . I got home about 5pm today to the shock of my freddie stuck to the gable wall with PVA shouting down "i told you, i ****ing told you, wait till that bastard jbonding finds out about this" at that point he fell 30ft to his death and i know what your thinking, PVA won't stick you to a wall but it wasnt the pva it was the rendering that came away, another reason for not putting a waterproofer in your top coat. .
