I ordered some sandals from Cosyfeet.

I have bought several pairs and the title I used on all orders was Mister (Mr).

Today, I received a mailing from them addressed Mx. Why would they do this when I am on their dbase as Mr?

Even more mystifying is that on the reverse of the letter is an order form where "Mx" isn't even an option.

By trying to appease a minority of customers they risk alienating others. I don't think I will be buying from them again.

What a load of nonsense.

I would contact them to amend your profile to Mr. As some companies sell their customer listings to other companies so you could end up with a pile of junk mail addressed to Mx.

It's a gender neutral address.
It wouldn't bother me in the slightest to be addressed as such a gender neutral honorific.

Didn't you mean "addressed as such a gender neutral horrific"
That would worry me,....... that people would address me as an adjective, unless it was something to do with a legend.
Say something like Mx, the legendary....... :giggle:

Why should you bother taking your time to tell them? He didn't ask them to change the salutation. Just don't use them again and move on
