Hi I have moved into a house(Feb 06) which has a Maxol homewarm 600 boiler mounted on the wall in the kitchen. There is no history available. The problem, which has developed recently, is a whistling noise coming from the boiler after a few seconds of it igniting. I have not had the system serviced since moving in and do intend to get it replaced, but what can I do in the mean time.
I have read some of your previous questions and wondered if it was kettling?
