Myson Apollo will not fire up

I have the above boiler, but after trying to ignite the pilot for about 1/2 hour we still have not hot water or heating. When the heating should fire up us just get a single click and not a full on flame.

I have tried mannually over riding the timer as well as turning the thermo right up.

Any ideas would be greatfully received

This one has a permanent pilot doesn't it? Pushing a button/knob and clicking a sparker should get the plot alight, then you have to continue holding the button for say 20 secs.If the pilot then goes out it probably needs a new thermocouple. If the pilot doesn't light at all there's either a gas supply problem or the sparker isn't working.
