Myson Economist goes out after a short time of firing up

Hi, i have a problem with my Myson Economist boiler.

I can ignite the pilot light no problem which stays on fine, but when i turn the heating on and the boiler fires up it only stays lit for about 2 minutes then goes out as well as the pilot light.

I have recently fitted a new thermo couple.

Does anyone know what the problem could be and would i be able to fix myself.

sounds like your boiler is overheating check your pump is working and you have water in the system

overheat stat is linked to the thermocouple so if boiler is o/heating it would cut pilot out
