Myson Marathon gas valve

[DUAL-FUEL]

I am currenty working on a LPG Myson Marathon (later model 1000c 1997). Someone has been trying to repair this boiler last week.

Last night I got a quick look at the boiler. Someone has replaced the gas valve. The gas valve to my records should have been prod code v4600c1029 , gas code 393-180.

But they have installed an Ideal prod code no 078596.There supplier advised them that this gas valve would work.

Ok the valve fitted but the flame is crap.

Before i start playing with it tomorrow can anybody help me?

Is there anywhere were i can get a manual on-line.

If I rem corr the E is for LPG.

Baxi-potterton have taken over Myson boiler stuff. An hour waiting for their techies to answer should sort it!
