Hello,

I have a Myson TRV that has stopped working (from one day to the next). I have read the FAQ on how to fix them by knocking the pin with a hammer, but I was hoping some kind soul could tell me how to take the plastic cap off. It didn't look that obvious, and I don't want to go breaking anything.

The TRV is reasonably old, so I'm not sure if it is the latest model.

Also, when I did a search on here, there was a post that said if Myson valves stop working, it is usually not the pin. However, it didin't explain what else it would be! Any ideas?

Cheers people.

Has the Myson trv got a large head with slotted sides...about 50mm across the top  .......if it`s one of those there`s a ring that slides down over the plastic "fingers" that hold valve head to body ...ease the ring up and pull off the head
