We just purchased our first home. Built in 2006. We went about our 2nd day using the dishwasher, laundry washer, showers and bath. The next day the carpet downstairs was wet. We thought it was coming from the downstairs toilet, but soon realized the closet carpet was also wet and there was no water around the toilet.
The next 2 days we didn't use the plumbing, the carpet dried up. We ran everything again today and so far the carpet isn't one bit damp. The plumber was baffled, both of them couldn't come up with a reason to why the carpet was soaked and now nothing. And it didn't rain. Does anyone have any idea whats going on?
