we had a new quadrant shower tray/enclosure and aqualisa aquavalve 609 fitted professionally a few months ago. All seemed fine for a couple of weeks, and then a damp area appeared on the floor just outside the tray where the enclosure met the wall. Our builder and plumber have checked all sealant in that area of enclosure; have taken shower head off and inspected pipe work; have taken floor boards up around shower tray -area beneath shower appears dry; have replaced cartridge in the (new) valve in case it was faulty. These various attempts have taken place over a period of weeks. Each time we have let the area dry out, and have then tried the shower again. It usually takes a few days for the dampness to re-appear; this time it took about 3 weeks (!). When it does appear it does immediately after showering, and once present gets gradually more extensive after each subsequent shower. We are totally at a loss, but so reluctant to rip it all out. Could condensation on the pipes cause this? It has been very cold recently. Please help!
