Mrs Mottie has been telling me about some project on some buildings her workmates husband manages. It’s a glass swimming pool between two buildings. I’ve just seen it on this mornings news full of people cooling off in yesterday’s hot weather. Looks even worse when it’s full of people. While I might walk over a glass bottomed bridge, I don’t think I’d like to swim between two buildings over a solid glass swimming pool. No way!

I couldn’t swim in that either. Engineers don’t always get things right and even if they do sometime poor maintenance means there can be problems.

Amazing feat of engineering and spectacular. Would be a little nerve wracking though. Only because it would be obvious to the neighbours that I was having a leak in the shallow end.
