Name for the spindle a strimmer spool mounts on

What's this thing called a strimmer spool fits on to?:

My spool broke. I assumed they were generic, so I bought a new one [https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/354027223069] that looks almost identical, except, it's about 10% smaller than the original, so doesn't fit on the existing spindle, and doesn't come with a new spindle.

I think it would be easier to try and find the right head, than try and find a suitable adaptor, there's so many different sizes, shapes, and threads.

Decent manufacturers have exploded diagrams of the complete tool and its individual parts online

This is a "VonHaus" strimmer, ie no-name thing I will see if I can find some part numbers.
Like I said, I assumed this stuff was generic. More fool me!

You may find a similar item from Amazon or whatever, often pre wound with line.
Just check the thread on the end of the drive spindle.....
Some are left hand, some are right.
