Name this bolt/screw

The bolt was countersunk into a bench slat of a garden bench, but obviously now all fallen apart and I want to replace them as but don't know what they are called.

Although it’s not the best practice, using a nice long woodscrew into the slats end grain will do as well as those things.

i agree with rodders but by the damage to the threads/ ridges it looks like its been forced into something harder other than wood whas it in wood ???
