Would appreciate any expertise or experience with kitchen design problem - we’re running a length of 400mm cabinets along one wall in parallel to island. Sink going in island so would like to put hob opposite it, in this 400mm space. Found narrow hobs (4 rings run in a line not a square) that seem to be about 340-350mm deep, but I’m concerned about whether it’s practical? I know there might be an issue with the worktop (cut-out hole leaving very narrow joining strips). But has anyone installed one of these narrow hobs and have you done it in a narrow space? Thanks
