Ok, so I'm wondering if a more natural (non oiled/varnished) finished to an engineered oak floor is easier to keep looking nice and not marked/scratch too quickly?
Currently we have some http://www.elkaflooring.com/downloa...14mm_Truffle_Oak_Data_sheet_2015_Complete.pdf laid. We're REALLY careful with it and it's looking good but the slightest marks on it show up really easily.
I have a friend who's moved into a house that had a move "natural" finish on their engineered wood. They have 3 kids and have it in their kitchen and lounge. The marks and wear/tear on it don't really show up.
Do Elka do a more natural finish or does anyone have any suggestions on this please? Or can anyone recommend a different board which is a more natural finish?
Thanks
