In my home office I am having new carpet fitted expect for the part of the office where the desk is.
Here there will be laminate.
Both the carpet and laminate will be a similar hue (light oak).
There will be a single straight 1.9m transition between carpet/laminate.
The 2 parts are being installed by different people.
The laminate is going down first and the carpet will be going down a week later.
Could you please suggest what is the best option to have an unobtrusive (wooden) transition between the 2 areas?
Anything the laminate fitter needs to "prep" at the edge ready for the carpet and the transition?
I have googled and found something like this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stikatak-...0822718215?pt=UK_Flooring&hash=item1e75a44307
or do I need something different?
Thank
