He the same boiler when I moved to present house, boiler got replaced with a Vaillant and then another Vaillant. GW will be kettling like there is no tomorrow. Mine was leaking as heat exchanger was cracked

Sure the guy can buy your gas valve for 10 squid, not saying he should not. In fact lucky that you have the valve. What my thoughts are, how is he going to set it up. Lot else comes to mind, it is just that I do not want to rob you of the sale
