I need to buy a runabout my old car is not worth saving I’m mostly in my vananyway but need a car for this and that. I just want a mid size 5 door , I don’t care about make or looks particularly. Are we allowed to give make and model options on here? if so Id like to hear recommendations mostly I want reliability, Cheers all

Na there ony 4 door cant go to the tip in that can I seats wont fold down! less than usless :ROFLMAO:

If reliability is your thing, then it's Japanese or Korean.......even VW have lost the plot just now.
Small cars? i10, Aygo, Yaris, Picanto.
Honda Jazz is a great car, auto's can be difficult.
Skoda are still looking good on the bigger models.
John :)

Can't really go wrong with Japanese or Korean.
This is something I find puzzling. In the USA Kia/Hyundai have a rotten reputation with many recalls for serious faults that risk wrecking the engine, catching car on fire and more. I have tried to find out where Kias for USA are produced but didn't manage to do so. If they are not produced in the USA, then I can't understand why there is such a difference in faults occuring, unless it's down to the mileage generally being higher in the US.

Get a corsa or a focus 10-15 years old from someone who looked after it.
Bulletproof cars and super cheap to service, maintain and fix.
I've always had vags, but because of the emperor's tax I found myself buying the cheapest car on gumtree with 12 months mot.
Got a 2006 focus, still haven't spent a penny in it and it's passed mot with flying colours.
