We have an old LG TV. The brackets fitted on the back and the screws were placed about 45cm apart.

Our new TV just has a square. The brackets JUST about fit - the bottom part stays in line exactly with the bottom of the TV.

Just wanted to check if the brackets are OK to fit?
I've looked at other brackets that can be purchased - they seem to be of the same type.

I've taken pics of the old and new.
See below.

ALSO: the old screws are too short!
Many other reviewers have complained about the same.
What size screws do I need? I'll pickup from screwfix.

Thanks.

You get an assortment of screw sizes with brackets which fit any tv, unlikely you kept the others?
Your photo does not show mounting points but should be similar to old tv.Brackets are designed for size of tv, if you have same size replacement then should fit .

Can I get from Screwfix?

The old bracket is 9 years old. I'm sure I have the extra screws - but no idea where they are.

What TV is it? I have a Sony that didn’t come with VESA mounts. It didn’t worry me.
normally the brackets that I buy come with a fixing pack with all sorts of screws/spacers.
Amazon may well offer a spare pack?

Some TVs have a curved back so need short spacers to pack out the brackets. Washers will do.
