Need help in choosing colour scheme ideas

hi guys,

i am doing up my lounge/frontroom. I am hoping someone can give me their opinion on the colours i have chosen or recommend me any ideas. I like the following colours:-

1. Cream/White
2. Soft Lime green
3. Blacks/Greys

I'm thinking of painting:-

1. All the room cream/white
2. The chimney breast black/grey
3. The alchoves on either side of chimney Soft lime green


What do you think? Will that look silly?

Yes it will look silly - too much going on. Make the walls match your carpet and sofas.
