Hi there,
This is my last resort, I am desperate
I have just heard on the news about the spell of cold weather we are about to have in the UK and I want to get my CH set on a timer so I don't freeze in the mornings.
The problem is that whenever I set it to switch on at 6.30am, in preperation for my awaking at 7.30am, the pipes make a really load knocking noise and wake me up. This happens everytime the heating is switched on but I don't really notice it during the day (I live in a flat and I only hear it in the bedroom!). The noise starts of every 15 sec and then gradually gets faster to every 2 secs, its drives me crazy! I have pulled away all our skirting boards (as my flat is on the grround floor so my pipes are above ground) and have put stuff inbetween the pipes to make sure they do not touch, but I am running out of ideas and I need some advice. Is there anything else I could try?
Please help!
Thanks in advance
Amillie
