Need metal washers with 10mm hole - what washer size?

I need gold and silver metal washers with a 10mm hole

After doing a few searches, I think I'm right in saying that the washer sizes are M2, M4... M10, M12 etc??

I've googled to find out what these sizes are
I can't find anywhere a simple difinition!

Can someone advise?
I wanted really thin ones and really thick ones - is there a naming convetion relating to the thickness?

i thought i wrote it - i had in mind but must have missed

i need 'goldish' colour
brass would be fine for example

similar to silver, doesn't have to actually be real genuine silver

actually... maybe i was imagining... in my search, for some reason copper washers cost a lot more? any reason why? i would like because of the colour

(before someone asks - i need to the washers to make something - not fix something)

'Brass washer' for brass washers
and 'copper washers' for copper washers and then take your pick

When you ask for a 10mm (10M)washer you get get one that fits a 10mm shaft.

The number gives you the clearance size of the hole and there are type"A" and type "B" for thin and thick.

A "10 m/m washer" will be about 10.5 m/m inside dia.

I know screwfix do a washer kit with lots of different sizes etc, if your still not sure you could buy it from them and just try to match it up with the screws you have? Not too expensive from what I recall.

+ know what the thickness is

screwfix seem ok on prices
but i can get similar or cheaper on ebay
even if more expensive - i'd rather pay a small extra and have delivered to me door

just did a search on ebay for 'yellow passivated' got 140 or so results
didn't find any gold washers though
any idea of where i can buy from?
