Mea culpa; mea maxima culpa!
Dropped a heavy chunk of metal on the water pipe feeding into the above pump (don't ask). Threads on black plastic end cap of said pump went snap!
Need a new end cap - possibly also a new non-return valve wouldn't go amiss, since it's about 15 years old. Can't make head nor tail of the "helpful" Grundfos website.
I reckon it's a bit specialised for my local places (being a not-usually-necessary-to-replace part of the pump) so any pointers as to the best place to source one would be very much appreciated. TIA.
And yes, I got very wet - as did the utility room floor.
And yes, it was entirely my own fault (see screen name).
Luckily, when I installed the pump, I put three stop valves into the pipework, so was able to re-route the water supply to miss out the pump until it's fixed. Sometimes overkill pays
