need to buy additional coving

I have removed a larder unit in a flat ive just bought and i am missing coving now - what do I measure to get the correct size of coving to match?

Is it from outer edges staight across or do i measure the contour or is it the depth of the wall it comes down?????

Please help

It's the distance measured diagonally from the point it touches the ceiling to the point it touches the wall.
The two most common sizes of plain plaster/lightweight coving are 100mm (4") and 127mm (5").

Be aware that different brands can have slightly differing profiles and will not always match each other perfectly.
