Hi all

I could do with some advice, please

After months of having a bathroom like a bomb site, it's got to get finished. (so the boss says!) ;)

Apart from wastes for bath & sink, I need to move the loo.

I'm moving it about 7ft, along the back wall of the house, the waste pipe that comes in to the loo at the moment is some lead type thing, joining a cast iron stack.

Am I best to chop the top of stack, to redo with plastic pipework, or can I add plastic onto this lead pipe?

I'm concerned that the angle of the lead pipe will not allow me to angle the new extension piece (7ft approx) into the new loo, there will also be a right angle joint at each end of this new pipe.

My other option is to replace the top of the stack (outside) with new plastic stuff, and run the new 7ft extension piece on the outside of the house, and that way I can get the angle needed, BUT

My rainwater downpipe is in the way!! sod's law!

Can I run rainwater downpipe about (4ft) into the new extension pipe, (like a bit T joint??).

Any advice will be appreciated, and I'm sorry this post is so long!.
