I  think I may need to replace my pump?
I have a back boiler and upstairs is the pump and I get get hot water : on the water only setting however I am unable to get any heat out of my radiators when I flick the switch.
The rads have all been bleed and are squeezing out cold clear water . just not getting out
How I can check to see if my pump is working ? it has a tap valve above the pump and it appears to be a 10p screw twist opening
Is sounds as water is running through the pump but the impellar is not working
Please any suggestions ? or shall I replace it ? if so how ? simply unthread the pump ???

many thanks

If when the system is on and you put your ear to it and it seems as if it is not working, no doubt it itsn't.

You should take the pump head off and if it's really dirty give it a good clean and try it out again.

If that fails, buy a new pump.
