Neff Dishwasher Not heating up

I wonder if anyone can help I have a built in neff Dishwasher, it hasnt been rinsing well for ages, But now its not heating up at all and when we put it on intensive wash, it seems to be counting up not down on the wash cycle
also it is leaving a gritty residue all over the dishes its been doing that for agesm is it time for this one to go to the scrap tip ?
Any advice please guyz
