My dishwasher stopped working a few weeks ago. When I turn it on, the lights come on, it gurgles quietly for a while and about 2" of water comes into it which gathers at the bottom, and eventually goes away. But nothing else happens. There is not the normal sound of a wash cycle.
My husband took various parts out and the mesh cylinder is slightly broken, He wondered if the filter was blocked or broken? Or could it be we need a new PCB unit?
The machine is about 8 years old and has been used about every two days.
Would love to hear anyone's thoughts.
