Is there power going to the appliance ie is the clock flashing?
If so try setting the time on the clock, does not matter what time, just a time! Then see if you can work it then. Some models require the clock time to be set or they will not work, but often on double ovens it is only the main oven that will not work, the secondary oven often does.
If you read the MI for this appliance it says "Before using the appliance for the first time, you must set the time on the electronic clock"
Thanks for replying, no the clock isn't working, nothing is. The electric is supplied to it. I am surprised it isn't on its own rcd on the consumer unit. We have only been in the house a short while and had not noticed this.
OK have you checked if the is any means or type of isolation switch. This could be above worktop, in a kitchen cabinet or even at the fuse board.
Has anyone actually tested for voltage at the oven outlet plate?
Well until this has been checked for: at the appliance, board and any accessory in between. The fault cannot be diagnosed as either a circuit issue or an appliance issue.
If you are not confident or/and lack the knowledge of measuring voltage, then continuity. I suggest a qualified electrician is called.
