Neff washing machine doesnt empty

If we put the machine on a cycle it gets to the emptying part and then comes up witht the error "3" , we have checked the drain which is clear . if we turn the machine off and turn the control knob to number 2 pumping , it will then empty the machine so I know the pump works is this going to be a control panel fault ??? if so how much are they and what is an expected cost of one , cheers guys

have you tried pulling the waste pipe to the washing machine out of the trap a bit because if it goes down the trap to far it wont empty
