Hoping for some advice. Live in Victorian terrace, shared gutter with neighbour which is housing association. Downpipe on their side.

They recently had new gutter put in, soon after mine started overflowing severely. Had independent company out - they said neighbour’s gutter is now at higher level meaning water cannot flow from mine to downpipe (which is on their side). I have included before and after photos (level before - first photo, angle after - my house is on left, down pipe far right).

Company who did work for HA are saying there is no angle and it is just that they have put in deep flow gutters. Can anyone advise me? The angle is so clear this seems crazy - what does deep flow have to do with it? If they dispute that their work caused the issue what can I do?? Thanks for your help…

Write to the owners who commissioned the work (the HA).

It is not your responsibility to deal with their contractors.

IME a letter gets logged and passed along. Phone calls can be mislaid.

I don't know. Can't make it out. Downpipe is not visible.

Suggest you remove your address from the photo.
