Neighbour's Windows looking into my bathroom

Hi Guys,

I live in a detached bungalow, my neighbour's side windows are located opposite my bathroom and toilet and his windows are not frosted, i.e. normal clear windows. So he can peep at us taking a shower. He has a detached bungalow as well.

Is this legal, should his side windows be obscure by the regs?

If these are "old" existing properties then this isn't unusual. Surely your window is frosted?

No extension, the windows are in the original house, but these windows are not original, they were out in there later.

Had a similar problem with a neighbour always at his side window staring at our house ,ended up putting in
a 6ft high fence against a five foot wall which seemed to do the trick ,although he complained to the council as we blocked his view of our garden !.

There isn't, and even if they did, windows can be opened.

You can still make out quite a lot through frosted glass, depending on the angles, especially at night.

Anyway common sense is to just use the blinds or build a fence or other barrier.
