We have a Logic 35 combi boiler in the airing cupboard in our bedroom. The thermostat is a honeywell 907 battery operated stat downstairs in the hallway connected by wiring in the wall. It only has two wires connected to it to control the call for heat.
Looking to delete/remove the honeywell by disconnecting at the boiler and covering with a blanking plate at the wall then install the heatlink for the nest near the boiler via a run in trunking of maybe 1.5 metres.
My plan is to use 5 core heat resistant flex to carry the 230v l/n supply directly from the boiler's internal terminal block (is off a 3amp fused spur) to the l/n on the nest and then the two call for heat cables to terminal 1-3 on the nest.

- Is 5 core (4 core and earth) 0.75mm heat resistant flex okay for this application? (https://www.toolstation.com/shop/p14950)
- Is this notifiable work, and thus would I be better off getting a trained professional to fit? (I've replaced lights, led drivers, basic soldering etc. so I'd like to think competent enough to install 4 wires)
