Could some one please tel me how to wire my new hot water cylinder up?
will it just require a 13amp fused connection unit?
where to start with this diagram and could you tel me how to add a timeclock aswell

If it's a spur via a 30a r/main then 13a flex outlet, if it's a seperate circuit direct back to the CU then a 20a switch, neon is best so you can see its on!

As for the wiring of the timer ?

What other elements of a CH system do you have or do you simply want to time the hot water on / off ? - reason I ask is that most have combi's or a traditional ch system that generates h/w via the boiler not via the immersion element (which is a back up for a ch water system).

First off, i'm pretty sure unvented hot water cylinders need to be signed off by building control and be installed by a competent person. If they go wrong they can cause a LOT of damage...

Secondly, you've posted the PDF which tells you everything you need to know to wire it up...

All of the instructions for the electrical wiring are in the instruction book. If you can't understand those, this job is beyond your capabilities.
