Hi,
I replaced some light switches in my house. I have a small hallway with 2x 2gang 2way switches. I changed the first one (small hallway and large hall) it worked fine, I then went and fitted other side (small hallway and outside light).
This one now works but on the first switch the switch for small hallway doesn't turn light on (the large hallway switch works). I replaced it back to the original fitting and still it doesn't work. All other lights work except this one (it did work before I fitted the second switch). On the new switch the L1 and Com are other way.

I am afraid that the batteries have run out on my X-Ray spectacles. Any chance we can see the wiring behind the switches?

PS, you did take a photo of the wiring before you disconnected everything, didn't you?

Sarcasm much.
No I didn't need to take pics it was simple wiring, a case of l1 in l1, l2 in l2, com in com. All wiring in correct places as I did label them. Like I said it worked before fitting the second switch.

This is the new one wired up, the back of new fitting and wires for small hallway and outside light (wires on left for outside light)

On the hallway and outside one the red and blue together with the loose red was in l2, red/black l1, yellow/red with loose red in com. 2 red wires on left are for outside light.
Small hallway and large hallway is exactly how it is red/blue l2, red/yellow l1, red com
